Leo Baca

Leo Baca, 63, of Amarillo passed away on Saturday January 30, 2016 in Amarillo. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas 79103 Leo was born October 27, 1952 in Rocky Ford, CO to Tomas and Dora (Suazo) Baca. He honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Leo was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was known for his dry sense of humor. He was constantly joking with his family and friends. He adored all of his grandchildren. Leo married Rose Suarez on June 2, 1979 in Hereford. He is survived by his wife, Rose Baca of the home, a son, Tomas Baca and wife Amanda of Amarillo, 3 brothers; Manuel Baca of Pueblo, CO. Charlie Rangel and Jerry Baca both of Rocky Ford, CO. his mother, Dora Rangel of Rocky Ford, Co. a sister, Rose Cockrell of Springfield, OR. and two grandsons; Johnathan and Christian Baca and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
