Leon Perrin

October 14, 1933 — March 16, 2007

Leon Perrin, 73, of Amarillo, died Friday. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Comanche Trail Church with Loran Harper, minister officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 2800 S. Osage Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Perrin worked at Meade Bakery and retired from Cook Book Bakery. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandkids. He was a great cook. Survivors include: his wife, Wynell of the home; 2 daughters, Becky Killin and husband Daniel of Amarillo, and Debbie Moore and husband Darrin of McKinney; 2 sons, Mike Perrin and wife Connie of Midland, and Melvin Ray Perrin and wife Mary of Alva, OK; 3 sisters Dottie McBee and Evalee Franklin both of Amarillo, and Faye Tarvin of California; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Cassie Perrin, a son, Charles D. Perrin in 1996, a grandson, Hunter Perrin in 2005, a brother, Clifton Perrin, and 2 half-brothers, Les Perrin and Clyde Perrin. The family will have visitation Sunday from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the funeral home. The family requests memorial donations be made to World Bible School, c/o Comanche Trail Church of Christ, 2700 SE 34th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79103, BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105, or a favorite charity.
