Leonard 'L.K' Fulks

Leonard LK Fulks,101, of Amarillo passed away on Sunday March 1, 2015 in Amarillo. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm in Llano Cemetery today with Max Beggs officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Leonard was born on January 7, 1914 in Lone Wolf, OK. He moved to Amarillo in 1966 from Briscoe where he farmed. After moving to Amarillo he worked as a custodian at Bowie Middle School until he retired in 1985. Leonard married Susie Vaughn in 1934 in Briscoe. She passed away in 2004. He preceded in death by a daughter Charlene Hartzell in 2001 and a niece Terry Beggs on 2013. Survivors include: two daughters; Nelda Brooks and Mickie Johnson, a son Noah Fulks all of Amarillo. Seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
