Leslie Bruce Deering, 70, formerly from Fort Worth died Monday, February 24, 2020. No services are scheduled. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Leslie Bruce Deering was born in Ft. Worth in 1949 to Ellen and Leonard Deering. He moved to Amarillo in 1963. He worked for Safeway Food stores, Furrs Food stores, and was the director of engineering for Affiliated Foods for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, two sons Clint Reed and Leslie Deering and his wife Shena, one sister, Carla Matacho and her husband Mike, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Cremation Friday, February 28, 2020
