Leslie Kay Lewis died Saturday August 3, 2019. Service is scheduled 2 Pm Friday August 9th at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Leslie Kay Lewis was born January 25, 1971 to Robert and Patricia Huber in Albuquerque, NM. She was a feisty woman; she earned the title of matriarch; Leslie was head strong and stubborn. The Word "no" wasnt acceptable. She would tell just about anyone how it was going to be and thats just how it was, but she was a very loving person. Leslie was a good friend to everyone. She was very kind and big hearted. Leslie always had an open home to those who needed a place to stay. Everyone around her felt comfort and knew she would take care of them, everyone called her "Mom" even if they werent related. Her passion was music and muscle cars. Leslie loved cruising down the road, windows down and music blaring. She met the love of her life, Brad at the age of 14. The two of them where inseparable. At the age 15, in 1986 the two got married. In great Leslie fashion she was late to her own wedding. Everyone said they were too young and would never make it. thirty three years later she was more in love than ever. A year after getting married she had her first son, Bryan, five years later she had another little boy, Branden. She loved her family endlessly. She had a new kind of love and desire in life. Leslie was an animal lover, on many occasions she would bring a stray dog home. She absolutely loved and adored her fur babies. They were spoiled rotten. Leslie was always willing to cater. She loved cooking, but Christmas was her favorite. She took over the Christmas tradition. She was a hard worker and very driven, but the role that meant the world to her was being "Lala". Her grandchildren brought out a many new emotions. The grand-babies could do no wrong. Leslie is preceded in death by her birth mother, Patricia Huber, her parents J.R and Etta Fisher. Leslie is survived by her husband Brad Lewis, two sons Bryan and his wife Kelsey Lewis and Branden Lewis, 3 granddaughters Autumn, Brooklyn, and Arizona Lewis, a grandson Brecken Lewis. one brother, Marc Fisher, two half-sisters Katie Huber and Mitzi Schroc, a half brother William Huber and God Parents Elwin and Bert Roark.
