Leslie Jo Mason, 39 of Amarillo died Friday July 23, 2004 Graveside services will be Monday July 26, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Dale Bigham, pastor of Arden Road Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Leslie was born in Slaton. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She graduated from an Amarillo Christian School in 1984. She worked as a certified nurses aid, E.M.T. and a receptionist. Leslie was a member of Central Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Lee Mason in 1974. Survivors include: her parents; Jack and Jimmie Mason of the home, 1 sister; Jeri Lee Finley and her husband Bill of Santa Maria, CA, 2 brothers; Jack L. Mason, Jr. and his wife Hisayo of College Station and Paul G. Mason of Phoenix, AZ, a step-sister; Clydette Metheny and her husband Tom of Glenwood Springs, CO, 5 step-brothers; Rheagan Fuqua of Lake George, CO, Dan Fuqua of Bosque Farms, NM, Butch Fuqua of Amarillo, David Fuqua of Arcata, CA and Andrew Fuqua of Hansford, CA, her extended family Rodney and Betty Sue Shoffner and girls of Amarillo 16 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews.
