Leta D. Adams

Leta D. Adams, 76 of Amarillo died Tuesday March 4, 2003. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper and Jerry Klein officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Buffalo Cemetery at Mayfield, OK. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Adams was born in Mayfield, OK. She moved to Amarillo 54 years ago from Sayre. She worked for American Greeting cards as a merchandiser for more than 20 years. She retired from Sav-On Beauty Supply after 20 years of service. She married Mel Adams in 1946 at Sayre. He died in 1997. She was a charter member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. Survivors include: 2 daughters; Kathy West of Arlington and Cindi Jones of Amarillo, 1 son Ricky Adams of Amarillo, 3 sisters; Cleta Casdorph of Gruver, Kappalee Brunner of Sayre, OK and Nadine Burks of Amarillo, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations be to Comanche Tr. Church of Christ.
