Leticia Marquez-Perez

Leticia Marquez-Perez, 78, of San Antonio passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. The family will receive guests from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage, on Monday, December 26, 2022. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home's Osage Chapel. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Leticia was born in Honduras on March 26, 1944, to Santiago Marquez and Fidelia Perez. She was an amazing mother and loving grandmother. She was very proud of her family. She was a marvelous cook with magic in her hands. Leticia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was passionate about fishing and camping. She was a Strong woman and the rock of her family. Leticia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Benedicto Marquez, and one sister, Florinda Argueta. Those left to cherish her memories are her significant other, Juan Cruz Sr., three sons; Juan Cruz Jr. and wife Rachel, Geovanni Cruz and wife Maria, and Jesus Cruz and wife Maura, three daughters, Dilcia Cruz and boyfriend Edger Samayoa, Ruth Cruz and husband Joe Tagle, and Ingred Cruz and her husband Mauricio, 15 grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters.
