Lillian Ruth Bybee

Lillian Ruth Bybee, 78, of Amarillo died Sunday, November 1, 2020. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Lillian was born in Snyder, November 26, 1941, to Flora and Curtis Rogers. She grew up as a preacher's daughter Moving all around the country so her family could build churches. She was introduced to the love of her life, Billy Bybee through the Rockwell family who would go on to marry them. They married on December 29, 1976. She moved to Amarillo in 1977. They were married 27 years until he died in 2004. Lillian was a loving, kindhearted woman who put others' needs ahead of her own. She was a director for Childrens Learning Center, cna for Bivins Memorial Nursing Home for eight years then BSA for eight years. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, James Rogers. She is survived by her son, Curtis Bybee, five nieces; Leehan Martin and her husband Todd, Jeehan Lemasters and her husband Thomas, Anya Nyson and her husband Dana, Catherine Rogers, and Barbara Johnson.
