Lillie Mae Crawford

Lillie Mae Crawford 84, of Vega, died Friday August 4, 2006. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church in Vega with Geary Martin pastor officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter. Mrs. Crawford was born in Hawley, Texas to Arvie Lloyd and Pearl May Sorrels. She worked as a waitress and homemaker with a kind and giving heart. She loved her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married Robert Crawford in 1960 at Clovis. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister and a grandchild. Survivors include: 1 daughter; Mary Ueckert and her husband Lonnie of Amarillo, 3 sons; Arvie Reeves and his wife Virginia of Kaufman, Charles Benton and his wife Beverly of Logan, NM, and Dwayne Crawford and his wife Christy of Kress, 2 sisters; Juanita Stump and Sue Grissom both of Memphis, 2 brothers; Junior Sorrells of Panhandle and Leslie Sorrells of Council, ID, 8 grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren. The family will be at 108 N. 11th in Vega and request memorial donations to Odyssey Hospice or a favorite charity.
