Lillie Mae Perkins 88, of Amarillo died Friday, December 18, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Amarillo Church of Christ, 9999 S. Western St., with Pat Mannon, evangelist from Huntsville, Ark. officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM in the Friona Cemetery, Friona, Texas. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Perkins was born in Tribbey, OK. She married Richard Perkins on June 11, 1944 in Tribbey. They spent 71 wonderful years together. She lived in Friona most of her adult life. Mrs. Perkins cared for children in her home for many years and loved baking. She was a homemaker and a member of the Amarillo Church of Christ. She moved to Amarillo in 2009. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Leon Perkins in 1992. Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband Richard; 4 daughters, Linda Pate and Alisa Trimmell and her husband Glen all of Amarillo, Anita White and her husband Larry of Lubbock and Angela Novak and her husband Mike of Manassas, VA; 3 sons, James Perkins of Amarillo, Bobby Glenn Perkins and his wife Diane of Bushland and Billy Ray Perkins of Putnam; 1 sister, Monte Ann Whalen of Wildomar, CA; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
