Linda Louise Galvin

Linda Louise Galvin, 68 of Amarillo died Sunday October 25, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in Life Tabernacle with Jeremy Shreiner officiating, burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Linda was born on July 11, 1947 in Denver, CO to William and Dorothy Wallis. She moved to Amarillo in 1973 from Denver. Linda was a homemaker and a very active member of Life Tabernacle were she taught Sunday school. Linda was a private school teacher and also worked as a nurses tech in Denver. She enjoyed making various crafts and was an excellent wedding cake baker. Linda married the love of her life Jerry O. Galvin on May 29, 1970 in Denver. She is survived by her husband, two daughters; Kelly Malcolm of Camp Verde, AZ, and Brenda Russell of Amarillo, two step sisters; Cathy Johnston of Lamar, NE, and Sue Vitdenos of Denver, CO, six Grandchildren, and three Great grandchildren.
