Linda Lou Johnson

Linda Lou Johnson, 69, of Amarillo died Tuesday April 8, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage Amarillo, Texas with officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel Mrs. Johnson was born in Wellington, KS, to Paul and Willa Dene Crites. She married Larry Johnson on August 31, 1962 in Wellington, KS.They moved from Kansas in 1971 to make their home in Amarillo. She enjoyed taking care of her family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Johnson loved to crochet and was an avid sports enthusiast. She liked going to chili cook-offs, and also enjoyed going camping and fishing. Mrs. Johnson was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, a son, Tommy Johnson and wife Kathy of Bossier City, LA, a daughter, Angela Johnson of Amarillo, 3 grandsons, Andrew Johnson of Bossier City, LA. Richard Lowery, and Christopher Brown and wife Dezi both of Amarillo, a granddaughter Tiffany Brown and husband Jeff of Amarillo, and a great granddaughter Azley Houchins of Amarillo. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday
