Lloyd Arthur Culala, 37, of Amarillo died Tuesday. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday, February 14 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage. Lloyd was born in Galveston January 26, 1983 to Rebecca Culala. Lloyd moved to Amarillo in 1992. He had a huge heart and a contagious laugh that would light up a room. His personality was bigger than life itself. He was bold and loved to live life on the edge. He had a great sense of humor and most found it hysterical. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had unending love for his daughter, Zoey. She was his whole world. Lloyd's favorite holiday was Halloween, but he didnt use Halloween as an excuse to dress up and would dress up at all holidays including Thanksgiving. He really enjoyed fishing and camping and loved to play pool. Lloyd was an excellent bowler. Lloyd's family was super proud of him for overcoming adversity, he overcame addiction by turning his life around and becoming successful. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Culala and his grandfather, Arthur Fletcher. He is survived by his daughter, Zoey Culala, his two brothers; William Culala and his wife Lindsay, and Andreas Culala and his wife April, two nephews, Tobias Culala and David Culala, three nieces; Eden, Culala, Harper Jones and Hadley Jones, one uncle, Louis A. Godey, and one grandmother, Anne Godey, Memorial Service Rector Funeral Home Friday, February 14, 2020 2:00 PM 2800 South Osage Amarillo, Texas 79103
