Lois Lorraine Stalker

Lois Lorraine Stalker, 92 of Amarillo died Sunday June 8, 2008 in Amarillo. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Seward, KS, with Fr. Rene Guesnier, celebrant officiating. Burial will be at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Seward. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Stalker was born on Sept. 1, 1915 on a farm north of Seward, KS, the same year as St Francis Xavier Catholic Church was built. She and her husband, Cecil lived on the farm until moving to Amarillo in 1976. Lois graduated from Radium High School as did her children. Lois was a homemaker all of the years on the farm at Seward. She drove tractors, combines and trucks as well as feed everyone. She was a long time member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977 and a son Kent Raymond Stalker in 2007. Survivors include her son Robert ""Bob"" Stalker and wife Susie of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, Annette Stout and her husband Rodney, Donna Stalker, Robert Stalker, Jr., and his wife Jennifer, Lisa Joyce and Jeremy Stalker and 5 great-grandchildren, Amber Stout, Jessie Stout, Christopher Joyce, Stephanie Joyce and Joseph Stalker.
