Loudene Williams 92 of Amarillo died Tuesday December 7, 2010 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Comanche Trail Church of Christ Chapel with Loran Harper, pastor officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM Friday at Berlin Cemetery at Berlin, OK. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Williams was born on December 8, 1917 in rural Beckham County, OK to Schuyler and Maud (Sandusky) Richerson. She graduated from Berlin High School. On September 16, 1937, she married her High School Sweetheart and love of her life, H.H. ""Bill"" Williams. They moved to Amarillo in 1942. Mrs. Williams was a devoted wife, mother and ""Nana"". She was a faithful member of the Democratic Party where she enjoyed helping with the election poles. She was an active member of the PTA and the Palo Duro Booster Club. She was always driving young men to their football games, which she really enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988, a son Kenneth Williams in 2001 and a great-granddaughter, Layla Morgan in 2009. She is survived by 1 son, Mike Williams and his wife Doris of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, Angel McGoffin, Michele Slayton, Amanda Tiffin, Bea Jay Morgan, J. Mike Williams and Whitney Williams, Trevor Pogue and 11 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt ""Thank you"" to Brooke Barton and Tiffany Admire for the special care they extended to Mrs. Williams. The family suggests memorial donations to Olivia's Angels in care of BSA Hospice.
