Louis ""Bear"" Ritchie 59, of Amarillo died Friday February 12, 2010 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Pavillard Missionary Baptist Church with David Waldrop, Baptist Minister officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Ritchie was born on September 14, 1950 in Valiant, OK to James O. and Vera Mae (Rathburn) Ritchie. He moved to Amarillo in 1965 from Childress. Mr. Ritchie worked at Affiliated Foods for 28 years. He retired as the produce supervisor. Mr. Ritchie was an avid coin and stamp collector. He also collected baseball cards, Hot Wheels and knives. He was a loving father, brother and ""Pawpaw Bear"". He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Kay Caristi in 1981. He married Kalene Goforth in 1993. He is survived by 2 daughters, Crystal Ritchie and Kimberly Ritchie both of Amarillo; 6 sisters, Linda Cook and her husband Jerry, Neila Hanes and her husband Larry, Evie Webb and her husband Delbert, Judy McGuire and Karen Ivy and her husband Mike all of Amarillo and Pamela Moore and her husband Don of Duncan, OK; 3 brothers, Jim Ritchie and his wife Lola, Ira Ritchie and his wife Janice and Thomas Ritchie and his wife Jennifer all of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, Joseph Ritchie, Audrey Westmoreland, Breyonia Westmoreland, twins Siniah and Josiah Westmoreland, Macy America Michelle Ivy and David Jacob Ivy and 1 great-grandson, Jakwhan Ritchie. The family requests memorial donations to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
