Lupito Avila

Lupito Avila 55, of Amarillo died Monday, March 14, 2022 in Amarillo after a lengthy illness. Private family burial will be at llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Lupito was born in Elmhurst, IL to Antonio and Elsie (Valerio) Avila. He graduated from Lakin High School in Lakin, KS in 1984. Lupito moved to Amarillo in 1987 and worked in the supply department at IBP until 2009. He was an avid football and baseball fan. He was preceded in death by his mother. Lupito is survived by his father, Antonio; one sister, Marie; five brothers, Rudy, Tony, Fernando, Jesse and Jacob and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
