Luvina Hill

June 2, 1930 — January 21, 2006

Luvina ""Kitty"" Hill 75 of Amarillo died Saturday, January 21, 2006 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2006 at St. John Baptist Church 2301 NW 14th Ave. with Pastor James Roberts officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage Street. Mrs. Hill was born June 2, 1930 in Palestine to Ransom Foster and Effie Mae (Epps) Foster. She moved to Amarillo in 1950 from Palestine. She was a retired housekeeper and a life time member of Mount Blessing Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Hill loved playing with her grandchildren and watching movies. She was preceded in death by her parents,a sister, two daughters and a son, Baby Jim. Survivors include: 5 daughters, Vena McClendon and her husband James, Barbara Johnson and her husband Starlin, Sandra Hill and her husband Arthur, Priscilla Hill and her husband Kirby, Janice Hill and her husband Harlton all of Amarillo; 7 sons, Claude Hill, Tommy Hill, Pat Hill, Gregory Hill and his wife Linda, Eddie Hill and his wife Tammy, Nolan Hill, and Norman Hill, all of Amarillo; 1 sister Dora Brown of Las Vegas, NV; 6 brothers, Albert Gipson, Eli Foster, James Foster, Freddie Foster, and Robert Foster all of Amarillo and Marcus Foster of San Leandro, CA; 37 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
