Lynda Ellen Devenney

Lynda Ellen (Harris) Devenney, 75, of Amarillo went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 9, 2023. The family will receive guests at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage, on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Lynda's life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10am in the funeral home's chapel with Pastor Greg Corona presiding. Lynda as born August 2, 1947 in Shamrock, Texas to Wayne and June (Marshall) Harris. She met Paul Devenney in 1966, married, and moved to Amarillo where they raised four children. Lynda is preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents, and a grandchild. Those left to cherish her memories are her children Mike Devenney of Springtown, TX, Angela Perry of Amarillo, TX, Mary of the home, and Joe Devenney of Amarillo, TX, a sister Nedra Billings of Amarillo, TX; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her dog Lilly and cat Boots.
