M. Willadene Crites

M. Willadene Crites 85 of Amarillo died Friday November 13, 2009 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington, KS., under the direction of Frank's Funeral Home of Wellington, KS. Local arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Crites was born on June 15, 1924 in Grenola, Ks. She worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 35 years. Most of those years were spent working in the office of J.C. Hill, MD in Wellington. She married Paul Crites in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1989. She moved to Amarillo 15 years ago, to be closer to her daughter, Linda. She is survived by 1 daughter, Linda Johnson and her husband, Larry of Amarillo; 1 sister Clara Bell Irey of Howard, CO; 2 grandchildren, Tommy Johnson of Boise City, IA, and Angela Johnson of Amarillo; 4 great-grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Tiffany Brown, Richard Lowery and Andrew Johnson.
