M. Glenn Mcminn

M. Glenn McMinn, 69 of Amarillo died Friday Jan. 10, 2003. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Rhea Raines of South Georgia Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. McMinn was born in Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951. He attended Panhandle State University at Goodwell, OK. Mr. McMinn worked for ASARCO and IBP before going to work for Bargain Warehouse where he was the manager. He was a charter member of the Tascosa Lions Club and was a member of the West Amarillo Christian Church. He married Shirley Browning in 1964 at Amarillo. Survivors include: his wife of the home, 3 daughters; Kelly Fox of Amarillo, Nicki Knehans of Garden City, KS, and Cynthia McMinn of Corpus Christi, 4 sisters; Marie McDowell, Jean LeMaster and Laverne Black all of Amarillo and Deanna Hyatt of Frisco, TX, 3 brothers; Ralph McMinn of Grand Junction, CO, Royce McMinn of Port Angeles, WA and Dwayne McMinn of Amarillo, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations be to the Tascosa Lions Club. The family will receive friends from 6-8p pm Monday at the funeral home.
