Manuel Nunez, 59, Of El Paso died Sunday, November 22, 2020. Mass will be 12:00 pm Friday, November 27 at our Lady of Guadalupe officiated by FR. Jose Gomez. Arrangements are By Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11-6:00 pm Rosary will be at 6-7:00 pm at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Manuel was born in Chihuahua, Mexico March 14, 1961, to Josefina and Florentino Nunez. Manuel came to the United States with nothing but a dream at 14 years old. When he became a citizen, he wouldnt let anything hold him back. He was proud to be an American. He was a hard-working entrepreneur. He owned many businesses. Manuel traveled a lot for work. His work ethic would take him from the bottom to the top of life, but he always stayed humble. Manuel kept a positive attitude and a smile. He enjoyed telling jokes, stories, or anything to help make others smile. His kind-hearted attitude would guide him to volunteer after Hurricane Katrina hit. Mr. Nunez helped repair or tarp the houses affected by the disaster. Manuel is survived by his father, his two sons; Angel and his wife Perla, and Omar Hernandez, his four grandchildren Isabella, Damian, Audrie, and Avery, his two sisters; Leticia and Maria Nunez, and four brothers; Omar and Bladimir Nunez, and Evelio and Tony Hernandez.
