Manuel A. Ramon

Manuel A. Ramon, of Amarillo, died Tuesday November 22, 2005 in Amarillo. Rosary and prayer vigil will be held on Sunday November 27, 2005 at 6:00 pm, in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel . Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday November 28, 2005 in St. Laurence Cathedral with Reverend Gabriel Cadriel, Celebrant. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St. Amarillo Texas. Mr. Ramon married Clotilde Galan in 1941 in Lamesa Texas. He farmed most of his life in Hereford and moved to Amarillo in 1979. He was a Crusillista and was very active in the Crusillo movement in Hereford and a very active member of the church. He inspired many people with his kind words. He was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Clotilde Ramon of the home; six daughters, Delfina Ramon, Mary Lou Garcia; Trina Rivera; Bobbie Ramon; Nellie Ramon; all of Amarillo and Ester Elicerio of San Marcos; three sons; Lupe Ramon of Washington; Robert Ramon and Nick Ramon both of Amarillo; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
