Marcos R. Cantu, 69, of Amarillo died Friday, October 1, 2021. Service is 11:00 Am Wednesday, October 6, At Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Pastor Tyler Leavitt of Trinity Fellowship. Arrangement and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Marcos was born in Lubbock on November 28, 1951, to Emanuel and Eustolia Cantu. Marcos was a kind, loving caring, and patient man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His passion was playing pool. He was a talented pool player. Marcos was a truck driver for over 35 years. He met the love of his life, Yolanda through a friend, after 20 years of dating, they married on January 25, 2010. Marcos was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Manuela Gonzales, and one brother Ricardo Rangel. He is survived by his wife, one son, Joshua M. Cantu, one daughter, Melissa Rodriguez, two stepsons; Mark Quiroga and his wife Angelica, and Oney Quiroga and his wife Missy, four sisters; Janie Gage and her husband Randy, Isabel Lopez and her husband Martin, Diana Gamez and her husband Jose, and Josie Carrasco and her husband Donnie, five brothers; Ernesto Cantu and his wife Josie, Dionico Cantu and his wife Delores, Emanuel Cantu and his wife Vicky, Alex Cantu and his wife Delia, Joe Cantu, and Jesse Cantu, and 5 grandchildren.
