Margaret L. Jackson

Margaret L. Jackson 85, of Amarillo died Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Margaret was born in Iraan. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She worked at Forest Hill Elementary School in food service for many years. Margaret was a devoted Christian and a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. She married Robert Wayne Jackson in 1948. They enjoyed traveling the United States and Canada on their motorcycles. Margaret was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Cheryl Nightingale and a granddaughter, Andrea Brandt. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Cameron of Amarillo; one son, Danny Jackson of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Kendi Escamilla and Anthony Escamilla and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donation be to Comanche Trail Church of Christ.
