Margaret Leach

Margaret Leach 90 of Amarillo died Monday April 16, 2007 at her home. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Generation Next 3503 SW 6th Ave with Tommy Fulgham pastor officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Leach was born in Hico. She was raised in Ardmore, and moved to Dumas in 1946. She worked at the Dumas Cleaners for many years. She was a very hard worker and loved serving her friends and family. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Dumas. She married Henry T. Leach in 1943 at Electra. Survivors include: her husband, 2 daughters; Beverly Mayeaux of Newport News, VA, and Linda Sloan of Amarillo, 1 son; Henry Leach of Howardwick, 1 brother; Albert Steele of Burkburnett, her grandson and caregiver; Thomas Abernathy, 14 grandchildren, 29 great0grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations Odyssey Hospice.
