Su familia era el centro de su vida y valoraba cada momento que pasaba con ellos.Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Rogelio y Maria de Jesús Carrera; su hermana Ramona y Alejandro Dionicio; su esposo, Miguel Ángel Arjon; su hermano, Gabriel Carrera; y su nieta, Ruby Arjon.Le sobreviven su hermano Blas y su esposa, Julieta; su hermano, Rogelio y su esposa, Alicia; su hermana, Lauren; su hermana, Maria de Jesús; su hijo, Rodolfo y su esposa, Hayde; su hija, Carmen; su hijo, Miguel y su esposa, Luz; su hija, Olga y su esposo, Juan; su hija, Cristina y su esposo, Medardo; su hijo, César y su esposa, Gricelda; así como 22 nietos, 35 bisnietos y 2 tataranietos.

Maria Luisa Arjon, 90, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on August 31, 2026.

Viewing will be available from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Casa Para El Rey, 1616 S. Vernon, and 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Casa Para El Rey. Prayer services will be at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Casa Para El Rey. Services will be at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Casa Para El Rey. Maria was born in Guanacevi Durango, Mexico to Rogelio Carrera Fernandez and Maria de Jesus Rios Mena. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her kindness, faith, generosity, and the love she showed to everyone around her. Her family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rogelio and Maria De Jesus Carrera; her sister, Ramona and Alejandro Dionicio; her husband, Miguel Angel Arjon; her brother, Gabriel Carrera; her sister, Ramona and Alejandro Dionicio; and her granddaughter, Ruby Arjon.

She is survived by her brother, Blas and his wife Julieta; her brother, Rogelio and his wife Alicia; her sister, Lauren; her sister, Maria De Jesus; her son, Rodolfo and his wife Hayde; her daughter, Carmen; her son, Miguel and his wife Luz; her daughter, Olga and her husband Juan; her daughter, Cristina and her husband Medardo; her son, Cesar and his wife Gricelda; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
