Maria Rodriguez, 71, of Amarillo died Sunday March 6, 2005 in Amarillo, Texas Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday March 9, 2005; at Immaculate Conception Church in Vega, Texas; with Father Pat Carathers of Saint Hyacinth's Catholic Church in Amarillo, Texas. Rosary Services will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday March 8, 2005 in Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel. Mrs. Rodriguez married Vincente Rodriguez in 1957 at Edinburg, TX; she was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Vega, TX. Survivors include: her husband of the home; 4 sons Jesse Rodriguez of Amarillo, Joe Rodriguez of Bartlesville, OK, Junior Rodriguez of Amarillo, and Johnny Rodriguez of Goodnight, TX; 1 brother Benny Espinoza of Portland OR; 5 sisters Irene Maldonado of Elsa, TX, Elida Muniz of Kalamazoo, MI, Ninfa McConnell of Amarillo, Juanita Romero of Gulf Port, MS, and Helen Bomberg of Jackson, MS; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grand children.
