Maria Sanchez 83, of Amarillo died Tuesday November 17, 2009 in Amarillo. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jose Gomez, celebrant officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Sanchez was born in Corralillos, Jalisco, Mexico. She moved to Amarillo 15 years ago from Mexico. Mrs. Sanchez was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Sanchez in 2002. She is survived by 7 sons, Jose, Merced, Augustin, Moises, Artemio, Francisco and Jesus all of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Juanita Garcia of Amarillo and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
