Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 3 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Friday, June 4 at St. Laurence Cathedral with Father Juan Rubio as celebrant. Lisa was born on March 28, 1975, in Littlefield, to Lazaro and Refugia Morin. She was raised in Amarillo, and graduated from Tascosa High School in May of 1993. A month later, she married Johnny Spangler. She obtained her associates degree in nursing in December of 2009. She was a LVN at Tyson for 8 years, and was employed at Northwest Texas Heart Hospital at the time of her passing. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved her husband and children with her whole heart, and was known as Aunt Bell to her nieces and nephews. Humor was what made her smile, and she was always willing to help others in need. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend to many. She will be missed dearly She was preceded in death by her father, her Aunt Lela, and Grandma Salas. Survivors include her husband; a son Eric McElreath; 2 daughters, Bailey and Aliyah Spangler; an adopted son, Dusty Spangler all of Amarillo; her mother; a sister, Rebecca McClure and husband Billy all of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Jaden, and Xavier and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family requests that memorials be made to the Eric McElreath Fund care of Amarillo National Bank.
