Marie Jane Rouk

Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Paramount Terrace Christian Church with Mike Nuthman officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 South Coulter Amarillo. Ms. Rouk was born in Tulia. She moved to Amarillo more than 40 years ago from Tulia. She worked at Golden Spread Electric COOP for twenty years as the office manager. Ms. Rouk graduated from Draughon's Business College in Lubbock. She served as the Senior Loan Officer for the Amarillo School Employee's Credit Union. She was a Past President and board member with the Amarillo Women's Network. She also served on the board of the Women's Advisory Committee of Northwest Texas Hospital's Center of Community Health, the Randall County Study Group of Long Range Extension Planning and the Advisory Board of the Mid Management Department of Amarillo College. Ms. Rouk was involved with the Amarillo Republican Women and the Women's Forum and League of Women Voters. She was a past board member of Rotary South and had served as a counselor for Camp Ryla. Ms. Rouk was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church Bell Choir. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Cindy Cowell and her husband Brent of Amarillo; 1 son, Scott Rouk and his wife Amy of Baltimore, MD; and 4 grandchildren, Taylor Cowell, Rachel Umlandt, Bailey Rouk and Zachary Rouk. The family suggests memorial donations to a favorite charity.
