Marjorie E. Jones

Marjorie E. Jones 84, of Amarillo died Monday, November 28, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Daniel Dempsey , pastor of Amarillo Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Marjorie was born in New Rochelle, NY on January 27, 1932 to Herbert and Daisy Kincaid. She moved to Amarillo in 1954 from Dumas. Marjorie was an excellent mother, wife and homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and crochet. She especially loved painting ceramics. She married J.B. Jones on February 5, 1951. They enjoyed taking their family, especially the grandchildren camping. J.B. preceded her in death on March 3, 1998. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Ricks and her husband Don and Donna Trammell and her husband Craig all of Amarillo; three sons, David Kincaid and his wife Melody and Herbert Jones and his wife Carol all of Amarillo and Bill Kincaid and his wife Captola of Waverly, TN; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial donations to the Texas Panhandle Honor Flight, 1220 S. Polk St. Amarillo, Texas 79101.
