Marjorie Rehnstrom

Marjorie Rehnstrom 95 of Amarillo died Wednesday Feb. 2, 2005 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Alta, Iowa. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Alta. Local arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter. Mrs Rhenstrom was born February 1, 1910 in Alta, IA. She worked as the director of Buena Vista County Social Services in Storm Lake, IA for many years. Mrs. Rhenstrom was active in numerous professional and social organizations and was a life-long member of the Methodist Church. In 1994 Mrs. Rhenstrom moved to Amarillo to join her daughter and son-in-law. She has resided at the Ware Memorial Care Center for the past 10 years. Survivors include her daughter Sandi McGinnis and her husband, Bob of Amarillo, 7 grandchildren, Michael and Suzanne McGinnis of Hamburg, Germany, Marni and Tim Warner of Lake Worth, FL, Mark McGinnis of Chicago, and Matthew and Suzanne McGinnis of Austin, 3 great-grandchildren; Savina McGinnis of Mound, MN, Adriana McGinnis of Hamburg, Germany and Declan McGinnis of Austin. Mrs. Rehnstrom will be mourned by numerous other family members and friends. The family requests memorial donations be to Ware Memorial Care Center or St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
