Marlene Ann Quesenberry, 75, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday November 12, 2007 at Amarillo. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Brother Bob Gill, pastor of First Free Will Baptist Church and Reverend Don Ralston, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX. Marlene was born on October 1, 1932 in London England. She migrated to the United States in 1952 and returned to England with her first husband in 1952. She then returned to the US with her mother, Gladys Ann Godfrey Dahms in 1964. She worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. from 1967 until 1987 when she retired. She married E. Ray Quesenberry in 1987. She loved everyone and was an active member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved gospel music and loved playing the snare drum to keep musicians in timing. . Survivors include: her husband, E. Ray Quesenberry of Amarillo; a step daughter, Lisa Richardson and her husband Michael of Amarillo; two step sons, Ray Quesenberry and his wife Kathy of Panama City Florida; and Rodney Quesenberry and his wife Laurie of Grove Town Georgia; a brother, John Dahms of Canary Islands; a sister, Sheila Matuzlzyk of London; 9 grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. Family and friends will gather for a reception at the conclusion of the services at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2501 South Vernon.
