Marshall C. 'Al' Alford

Marshall C. ""Al"" ""Baldy"" Alford, 64 of Amarillo died Monday June 28, 2004. Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday at the Memorial Park Gazebo on the Amarillo College Campus on Washington Street. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas 79103. Mr. Alford was born in Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Viet Nam and was stationed at the Amarillo Air Base. He owned Al's Auto Service. He married Virginia ""Jenny"" Young in 1960 at Amarillo. Survivors include: his wife of the home; 3 sons, Carl Alford, Cal Alford and his wife Becky, and David Alford; His step-father and step-mother, G.E. and Daisy Fritzke; a number of brothers and sisters; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a son, Little Al Alford in 1961.
