A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 pm Monday, January 10 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Mike Ecker, of Immanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Martha was born on November 8, 1929, to Lonnie and Georgia Crabb, in Ranger, and had been a resident of Amarillo for several years. She married Carl Ragan on November 4, 1946 in Pampa. They owned and operated numerous restaurants including the White Pig, New Burger, and Country Kitchen. Martha was very musically inclined, and played many instruments by ear. She and her husband were heard often playing with various Blue Grass bands. She cherished time with her family, and had a passion for cooking. She had a great sense of humor, and will be forever missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Ragan; a daughter, Carla Chapman; a sister, Margie Crabb; a brother L.J. Crabb; and a grandson, Dustin Chapman. Survivors include her husband; grandchildren, Tonya Jennings and husband Neal, and Tony Ragan all of Amarillo; great grandchildren, Tanner Sanders, Jayton Jennings, Jaylee, and Taylor Chapman all of Amarillo; and a sister, Charlotte Sims Karr and husband Price of Arkansas.
