Martha Belle Dempsey

Martha Belle Dempsey, 79, of Amarillo died Saturday January 20, 2007 in Amarillo. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday January 24, 2007 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church; with Msgr. Joseph Tash officiating. Rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM in Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 south Coulter; burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Dempsey was born and raised in Hawesville, KY she also graduated from high school there. She was a beloved mother, and grand mother. Survivors include: 3 daughters Tina James of Valley de Oro, Rose Morene Cohoon of Hutsonville, IL, ,and Martha Elaine Sallee of Charleston, NC; 1 son Mark Andrew Dempsey of Minooka, IL, 2 brothers Morris Basinger of Chandler, IN, Christopher Basinger of Los Angles, CA; and 2 sisters Frankie Burnett of Hawesville, KY, and Ella Moore of Newburgh, IN; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
