Martha Ann Ledford

Martha Ann Ledford, 68, of Amarillo died on Sunday, September 24, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Immanuel Baptist Church, with Dr. Kevin Dotson, of Immanuel Baptist Church, and Mike Ecker, Baptist Minister, officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage, Amarillo TX 79103. She married Jerry Ledford, Sr. in 1956 at Minerel Wells, Texas. They were married fifty years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and also enjoyed her friends. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Ledford, Sr. of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Franklin and husband Doug; and Millie Bettag and husband Marvin, both of Amarillo; two sons; Jerry Ledford Jr. and wife Brenda of Naylor, GA; and Jim Ledford and wife Terri of Abilene TX; ten grandchildren, Anni Sue Mackey and husband Robert Jr. of Amarillo; Marvin Bettag and wife Tadie of Alamogordo NM; Marcus Bettag and wife Christina of Amarillo; Charity Butts of Amarillo; Thomas Ledford of New York NY; Shasta Thomas and husband Michael of Amarillo; Millie Franklin of Amarillo; Kyle Franklin of Amarillo; Samuel Ledford of Naylor GA and Max Ledford of Naylor, GA; eight great-grandchildren; Garren Thompson; Ashley Butts; Joshua Bettag; Caitlin Bettag; Michael Thomas; Mikaela Bettag; Casey Bettag; and Robert Mackey III; five sisters; Barbara Perault of Calument, MI; Johnnie Alsup of Bedford TX; Billy Wright of Ft. Worth; Wanda Hamm of Ft. Worth; and Bonnie Christian of Amarillo; and two brothers James Hamm of Ft.
