Martin John Gallegos

Martin John Gallegos 28, of Amarillo died Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Amarillo. Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Sunday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jose Gomez, celebrant officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Martin was a very special son, brother, uncle and cousin. He was dearly loved by all of his family. He always had a smile on his face and brought joy to all those around him. He was born on November 8, 1985 in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy's Fan and also loved the University of Texas Longhorns. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Martin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hilda Guzman, 2 uncles, Alex Gallegos and Smiley Gallegos and a cousin Alicia Alcala. He is survived by his mother, Maricela Gallegos DeLosReyes of Amarillo, 3 brothers, Michael Gallegos, Pete "Wedo" DeLosReyes and Ignacio DeLosReyes all of Amarillo; 1 sister, Carmen DeLosReyes of Amarillo and several nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles.
