Martina Martinez Guzman 76, of Amarillo died Monday, April 9, 2012 in Amarillo. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Pastor Ruben Carrisco, Danny Morales, deacon and Martin Morales officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Guzman was born in Reynosa, Tamalipas, Mexico. She moved to Amarillo in 1966. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista . She was preceded in death by her husband Ramiro Guzman in 1984. She is survived by 2 daughters, Marilynn Valdez and Malinda Marmelejo and her husband Jose, all of Amarillo; 2 sons Ramiro Guzman, Jr. and Juan Guzman both of Amarillo; 1 brother, Baldemar Medrano of Waco; 2 sisters, Suzana Bustos of Austin and Elvira Luevano of Edinburg; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
