Mary Helen Alaniz

Mary Helen Alaniz 55, of Amarillo died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Claude. A gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, August 25, 2016. Cremation and arrangements were by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mary was born on June 14, 1961 in Park Ridge, Ill. She moved to Amarillo in 2006 from Hereford. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked hard at raising her four children with integrity. Mary was also a very good sister to her siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Veronica Alaniz and Erica Soto both of Amarillo; two sons, Luis Elizondo and Eric Elizondo both of Amarillo; five sisters, Leticia Carrasco, Juanita Enriquez and Gina Rincon all of Hereford, Frances Pesina of Lubbock and Andrea Kutch of Carrizo Springs; three brothers, Eugene Elizondo, Jr., Joe Angel Elizondo and Carlos Elizondo all of Crystal City and five grandchildren.
