Mary Beckworth

Mary Beckworth, 83 of Amarillo died Saturday Dec. 28, 2002. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Paramount Baptist Church. Entombment will be at Llano Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Beckworth affectionately known as ""Memaw"" was born in Choctaw Co., OK. She lived in Dumas for 20 years before moving to Amarillo in 1959. She was a homemaker and a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She married A.V. Beckworth Dec. 25, 1939. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 1 daughter; Sue Gallegly of Amarillo, 1 son; Kelly Beckworth of Memphis, 2 granddaughters; Laura Clark and Emily Rectorand her husband Lynn all of Amarillo, 2 grandsons; Adam Beckworth of New York City and Michael Beckworth and his wife Amber of Amarillo, 2 great-granddaughters; Connor Clark and Alison Hollabaugh, both of Amarillo, 1 sister; Evie Gilbert of Kingman, AZ and 1 brother; Org Preston of Vergennes, IL. The family requests memorial donations to the Dale Gallegly Memorial Fund c/o Paramount Baptist Church.
