Mary Davee

Mary Davee 72, of Amarillo died Tuesday September 4, 2007 at Amarillo.. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday September 6, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery, North Mausoleum with Reverend Sherman Eastland, Chaplain, Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Davee was a food service manager for the Canyon ISD for 7 years. She then went to work for Bivins Memorial Nursing Home as a purchaser in Dietary for 15 years. She retired in 1997. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bob Davee in March 1998 and a son, Donald Davee in June of 2002. Survivors include: a son, David Davee; two daughters, Doreen Groom, and Dawn Johnson and her husband Jimmy, all of Amarillo. 3 brothers; Bill Gariepy of Sanford TX; Joel Harrelson of Kilgore TX and Jackie Gariepy of Odessa TX; 2 sisters, Correne Edward of Austin TX and Judy Huse of Odessa TX; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
