Mary Sue Lemmon

Mary Sue Lemmon 81, of Amarillo died Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Amarillo. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Lemmon was born February 4, 1935 in Hartsthorne, OK. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She graduated from Amarillo High School and received a bachelors degree in accounting from West Texas A&M University. Mary worked as a bookkeeper at Seale-Amerson Lumber Company and Pride Home Center for many years. Mary was active in the community and volunteered at Meals on Wheels and Martha's Home. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Jeff Lemmon and his wife Shelly of Rowlett; one daughter, Suzanne Johnson and her husband Chris of the Colony; and 4 grandchildren, Britany, Emily, Stephanie and Shane and his wife Skyler. The family suggests memorial donations to Martha's Home, 1204 SW 18th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas 79102.
