Mary Jane Nowak

Mary Jane (Holzkamper) Nowak, age 83 made her heavenly ascent on August 18, 2022 at her home in Gravette, Arkansas. Her sister and caregiver Bonnie Walker was at her side. Funeral service is 2:00 pm Thursday, August 25 officiated by Pastor Andrajack with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery (6969 E I40). Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Mary was born January 29, 1939, in Amarillo, Texas to Philip and Elsie Holzkamper. She married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Nowak on August 15, 1963, and they enjoyed a wonderful life together. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Elsie Holzkamper, her husband Bob Nowak, two daughters Susan Eggleston and Toni Berry, three sisters Betty Mask, Doris Nelson, and Donna Martin Dehoog, two brothers Phil Holzkamper and Bob Holzkamper. Mary is survived by a son Bobby Nowak, grandchildren Ashton Nowak, Alexandria Gillespie, and Britt Berry, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, one brother Frank Holzkamper (Sharon) of Gentry, Arkansas, one sister Bonnie Walker of Gravette, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews Mary will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends. Mary was always a caregiver by nature, caring for family members and her church family all her years. She loved crafts and spent time making and donating them and time to her church for over 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and spent many vacations in Arkansas to be with her family there.
