Mary Alice Rice

Mary Alice Rice, 75 of Amarillo died Sunday, July 20, 2003 at Amarillo Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Llano Cemetery with Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Rice was born in Caneyville, KY. She moved to Amarillo in 1963 from Sacramento, CA. She worked for Campbell Candy Co. for several years, retiring in 1981. She married Edward L. Rice in 1949 at Louisville, KY. He died in 1978. Survivors include: 2 daughters; Carolyn Roller and her husband Gary and Alice Gilbert and her husband Tim all of Amarillo, 3 sisters; Nell McClure of Scottsville, KY, Robeye Anderson of Bowling Green, KY and Barbara Coffman of Elizabethtown, KY, 4 grandchildren; Brian Roller, Charlie Roller, Brandi Gilbert all of Amarillo, and Kim Roller of Missoula, Montana and 3 great-grandchildren; Raissa Roller, Cody Roller and Kappie Sue Roller all of Amarillo. The family will be at 3806 E. 36th Ave. and request memorial Donations be to the Salvation Army or BSA Hospice, 200 NW 7th Amarillo, Texas 79107
