Mary Jane Roa

Mary Jane Roa, 81, of Amarillo died Monday November 20, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM Friday November 24, 2006, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Rex Nicholl, officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Amarillo. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage, Amarillo TX 79103. Mrs. Roa was a very strong, brave, and compassionate person. She always considered others feelings before her own. She suffered with grace and dignity. Mrs. Roa is preceded in death by 3 sisters Rafaela Renevious, Paulina Galvan, and Cecilia Roa. Survivors include her husband Pete L. Roa Sr., of the home, 1daughter Eva Roa Grotefend of Amarillo, and 1 son Pete Roa Jr. also of Amarillo, 1 brother Joe Rodriguez of Denton, and 1 sister Joyce Gonzales also of Denton; and 1 granddaughter Angelica Renee' Roa Mata.
