Mary Shannon

Mary ""Diane"" Shannon, 58, of Amarillo died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., with Don Ralston, pastor of New Beginnings Church and L.D. Burney, pastor of Eternal Light Church of Borger, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Shannon was married to her husband, Travis W. Shannon, for 41 years. She was co-pastor of Golden Pathways Church and co-owner and publisher of Golden Plains Farm and Ranch Magazine. She was the daughter of M.M. and Leo Holbert of Lubbock. Survivors include her husband, Travis W. Shannon; two daughters, Lynetta Trisler of Amarillo and Dynette Schilling of Fritch; a son, Trevor Shannon of Amarillo; a sister, Patsy Rodgers; two brothers, Pat and Jerry Holbert; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
