Melinda Elizabeth Duncan

Melinda Elizabeth Duncan 37 of Amarillo died Sunday June 3, 2007. Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Memory Garden Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas. Miss Duncan was born in Albuquerque, NM. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1988. She received an Associate of Arts from Al Collins School of Graphic Design in Phoenix, AZ, and a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Eastern New Mexico State University. Miss Duncan moved to Amarillo in 1999 from Albuquerque where she had worked at Graphics Galore. She also worked at the Amarillo Globe News as a graphic designer. She was an Amarillo SPCA volunteer. She was preceded in death by a brother; David Duncan in 1973. Survivors include her parents; John and Kerin Duncan of Amarillo, 1 brother; Glenn Duncan and his wife Kerima of Amarillo, her grandmother; Emma I. Boston of Salina, OK and her beloved dog Shaka.
